Esnyr woke up to strange sounds coming from her hamster's cage. Whiskers wasn't squeaking normally - everything sounded backward! That's so weird, Esnyr muttered, adjusting her glasses. She grabbed her notepad and wrote: 'Theory #127: Animals speaking in reverse?'
Looking out her window, Esnyr gasped. A mysterious purple fog was floating through the streets, and every pet she could see was speaking strangely. I will soon get this right! she declared, watching her neighbor's cat walking backward while meowing in reverse.
Whiskers jumped into Esnyr's pocket as she rushed outside. We need to solve this before sunset, she told her hamster friend. Together they followed the purple fog to the town's pet store, where all the animals were having backward conversations.
Inside the store, they discovered a magical speaker playing reversed animal sounds. Esnyr quickly unplugged it, and the purple fog disappeared. As all the pets returned to normal, she proudly checked off Theory #127 in her notepad. Whiskers squeaked happily, this time in the right direction.
